Slab Jacking/Pressure Grouting( Mud Jacking, Lifting, Stabilising)
When a Concrete Pavement is not properly sealed at the joints, water can enter the pavement sub base and soften it. This leads to sub grade failure due to the pumping action from traffic loads. This pumping then develops voids under the slabs which in turn cause slabs to become unstable and even sink.
Slab Jacking/Stabilising corrects differences in the levels between concrete slabs and stabilises (stops from moving) rocking slabs. This extends the pavement life and defers much more costly complete replacement.
